Welcome to Senior Celebration

What is Senior Celebration?

Traditionally, Senior Celebration launches an exciting year of activities to celebrate the end of high school, including a senior picnic, transportation to and from the Senior Prom, graduation rehearsal breakfast, and a special post-graduation event. All activities are entirely supported through community fundraisers and donations from parents of the senior class.

We are planning these activities in earnest, but please keep in mind that weather, pandemics, etc. can cause changes to these plans.  We will spend the year in constant communication with the MHS Administration, MHS PTO, and the Millburn School District with regard to how Senior Celebration activities and fundraisers will run this year. We will also be following public health guidelines set forth by the CDC, the state of New Jersey, and the District.

We are so excited to have a senior year with an expectation of normalcy. We do not know what type of curveballs may lie ahead but are thrilled to have started our planning more like the pre-pandemic years.  Our SC2023 student government, led by Evan Shidler, has come up with the slogan "We Belong Together ’23”, which seems perfect as we move forward from COVID.

Thank you to the over 35 parents who have already volunteered to participate on the SC2023 Committee.  We are so excited to have you join us as the Senior Celebration is not possible without the support of our families and community.  So, if you haven’t joined yet, please do! There are many opportunities to chair activities and fundraisers and/or consider volunteering and being hands-on on the day of our events. We welcome your participation in any capacity and will find a match for your interests, skills, and time availability.
