Welcome to Senior EVENTS 2027

 

Dear MHS Class of 2027 Parents and Guardians,

 

Senior year is coming! We are so excite to begin a wonderful year with all of you! 

 

We have been planning traditional and new senior events to celebrate our seniors all year long.   

 

All activities are entirely supported through community fundraisers and donations from parents of the senior class. Here are some of the planned events:

  • Car Decorating Contest - First day of school
  • Senior Sunrise
  • Senior Lounge Days
  • Food Truck Day
  • Prom (combination of student fundraisers and our committee events)
  • Senior Sunset
  • Graduation Rehearsal Breakfast
  • Sunset Boat Trip on the Hudson
  • And much more….

Membership is required to participate in most of the MHS PTO sales and activities, including most Senior Events sales and activities!

✅ PAY SENIOR EVENTS DUES

We are asking each family to contribute $350 to support the entire year (including transportation to the prom and the post-graduation party). Please note that this contribution per student covers only a portion of our costs for Senior Events.

 

Please be sure to make your contribution by December 1st. We encourage you to pay by Zelle to avoid credit card fees. Zelle Payments can be made to: senioreventstreasurer@mhspto.net.

 

Also, please apply for Corporate Matching donations if your employer offers them. Any matching funds we receive will be spent on events for our seniors. If you pay through a company donation website, please email senioreventstreasurer@mhspto.net so we can keep an eye out for it. We appreciate you taking the extra step to provide a matching contribution.

Thank you to the parents who have already volunteered to participate on the SE2027 Committee. We are so excited to have you join us, as Senior Events is not possible without the support of our families and community. There are many opportunities to chair activities and fundraisers and/or consider volunteering and being hands-on the day of our events. We welcome your participation in any capacity and will find a match for your interests, skills and availability.
